ASTM B619 UNS N10276 is used in industries such as chemical, pulp and paper, municipal waste treatment, and pollution control. Hastelloy C276 welded pipe has the ability to sustain in applications where other alloys tend to struggle. Alloy C276 rectangular pipe is one of the few that is made up of all that can resist hypochlorite, chlorine dioxide solution, and wet chlorine gas. Hastelloy C276 square pipe also offers resistance against solutions such as cupric chloride and ferric. ASME SB622 UNS N10276 pipe also showcases resistance to reducing and oxidizing media. Hastelloy C276 erw pipes are used in digesters, heat plants, components used in sour gas plants, and in the equipment of flue gas desulfurization plants. Hastelloy C276 tubing is also used in fillers and mixers used in the sulfuric acid environment.

Hastelloy C276 High Pressure Tube can also be used in sulfuric acid reactors and organic chloride process equipment. Hastelloy C22 Pipe is available in the thickness range of 0.038 inches to 0.141 inches. Hastelloy c22 tubes are resistant to oxidizing aqueous media. ASTM B619 welded pipe can resist not only chlorine but also solutions containing nitric acid and oxidizing acid with chlorine ions. ASTM B622 Tube is not recommended for use in temperatures above 1250 degrees F. After 1250 degrees F ASTM B622 Hastelloy C22 Seamless Pipe enters a detrimental phase. In this phase, ASTM B619 UNS N06022 Welded pipe tends to lose corrosion resistance properties

What is Hastelloy C276 Pipe ?

There are a number of nickel base alloys available in the market that differ from each other due to the addition or deletion of some minute element. Hastelloy C276 Pipe is one such alloy that is produced by adding tungsten in trace amounts. Hastelloy c276 seamless pipe manufacturers recommend these pipes due to their resistance to corrosion in a severe environment. Hastelloy C276 Tube is said to be an improved version of alloy C as it is not required to be heat treated post welding. Furthermore, these Hastelloy Tube also display improved fabricability. The formation of carbide precipitation during welding is minimized in Hastelloy Pipe due to the low content of carbon. Wedded grain boundary precipitation in Hastelloy C276 Seamless Pipe is also resisted in the heat affected area.
